Transinteract was founded in 1999 by Dean Procter with the aim of providing a practical and easy to use authentication solution to secure consumers against fraud, phishing and identity theft. We achieved our objective, and realising that the solution could be extended further, Transinteract went on to develop IP and test other applications which could benefit from ID authentication and Transinteract's unique methodology. Dr A. John Green, joined the company board in 2006 after leaving Macquarie Bank, where John was Executive Director of Quantitative Analysis and Financial Risk, and Chairman of Macquarie Life, having served 20 years with the organisation, which is one of the outstanding success stories in merchant banking. Transinteract is now a world leading innovator succeeding as the first developer to create practical and ubiquitous mobile phone technologies fit for such a large range of services and users.
